PGX HD-SDI Studio Prompter Scroll Engine for IP Prompting

The PGX 19″ HD-SDI Studio Prompter Scroll Engine is a 1U, 19″ rack-mountable prompter video generator for WinPlus-IP designed specifically for broadcasters, OB operators and studios that require more video outputs. With its four HD-SDI BNC connections, it offers enough outputs to distribute the prompter signal directly and thus minimize infrastructure costs. Thanks to Autoscript’s unique Intelligent Prompting IP technology, which allows Prompter Devices to no longer be location-only, the PGX HD-SDI Studio Prompter Scroll Engine can now be installed directly in the ZGR or OB Van. A standardized C14 power connection and short video cable runs reduce costs and increase production reliability.

The heart of the 19″ Prompter Video Generator comes from the Xbox-IP, but has been upgraded with specially developed components such as a robust power supply unit, a network switch, an SDI distributor and its own control technology. Since the core of the PGX Studio Prompter Scroll Engine is an original Autoscript IP component, it can be controlled just like an original Xbox IP with WinPlus-IP. The Device Manager in the WinPlus-IP Prompting software allows the user to monitor the status, perform upgrades and manage the device. The PGX Studio Prompter Scroll Engine is only available with a WinPlus-IP system or as an upgrade for an existing XBox-IP.

There is also the option to upgrade the PGX HD-SDI Studio Prompter Scroll Engine with a Power-over-Ethernet output to power an Intelligent Prompting Scroll Controller. The modern and sturdy aluminum housing with active fan control, status LEDs and matrix display offers a practical and robust solution for large studio and OB van users.
